BEL AIR, Md. - For the second-straight season, the Harford volleyball team (19-8) defeated Baltimore City to claim the Region XX Championship in front of 310 fans inside the APG Federal Credit Union Arena on Thursday. The Fighting Owls won 25-11, 25-20, 25-17.

With the win, the Fighting Owls advance to the NJCAA District Championship on Nov. 9. Harford will host the Region XVI Winner inside the APGFCU Arena at noon.

Lauren Brown pounded out 14 kills with a .440 hitting clip in the win. Ashley Joyner and Alexis Goldston added seven and four kills, respectively. Fabiana Della-Monica handed out 24 assists in the win.
