COLUMBIA, Md. - The Harford volleyball team won its school-record 20th contest on Wednesday, sweeping MD JUCO foe Howard on the road. The Fighting Owls, who finished second in the MD JUCO Standings, beat the fourth-place Dragons, 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Harford was led offensively by Lauren Brown's 13 kills and Alexis Goldston's eight. Overall, the Fighting Owls attacked at a .373 clip, totaling 31 kills on just nine errors in 59 attempts. Ashley Joyner added five kills while Christianna Belzner chipped in with three and Julua Berg, two.

Fabiana Della-Monica handed out 25 assists and collected her single-season record 117th service ace in the win. Every Fighting Owl collected at least one dig, led by freshmen Victoria Karayinopolus and Kendall Daley's 13 and seven, respectively. Joyner had eight while Della-Monica also added seven.

Harford next hosts the Region XVI winner in the District L Championship contest inside the APG Federal Credit Union Arena on Nov. 9.
