HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (15-5) was swept in both matches on day one of the Hagerstown Tournament on Saturday. Playing without All-American candidate Lexie Roberts, the Fighting Owls were swept by Jackson and Montgomery.

Roberts, who leads the league in kills and hitting percentage, suffered a leg injury in Thursday's win over CCBC Catonsville. Without the All-MD JUCO performer, Harford centered its offense through Ashley Joyner and Lauren Brown.

Joyner totaled 12 and 14 kills in Saturday's matches, while Brown had eight and 15. Fabiana Della-Monica totaled 51 assists in the pair of losses.

Harford takes on Monroe and Northern Virginia on Sunday.
