Men's Basketball Drop Regular Season Finale

BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's basketbal team (15-15) dropped an 88-83 decision to Salem on Wednesday in the team's regular season finale. The Fighting Owls allowed the Oaks to shot 48.5 percent from the floor in the loss.

Sophomores Dimitrious Jelen-Joy and Jeff Joynes provided more than half the offense, while freshman George Cooke continued his dominant play in the paint, defensively.

Jelen-Joy netted 31 points on 12-for-19 shooting while pulling in seven rebounds. Joynes added 23 points off the bench and Cooke chipped in with seven points, 10 caroms and six blocked shots. He has 22 swats in his last four games, giving him 51 on the year, third in the conference.

The Fighting Owls travel to Hagerstown for the Region XX Championships on March 1 against No. 1 Baltimore City.
