BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's lacrosse team (1-3, 1-1 MD JUCO) took down CCBC Catonsvile (0-7, 0-2 MD JUCO) for its first win of the year on Tuesday, 17-2.

Five Fighting Owls recorded at least two goals, led by freshman Emily McDowell's career-high four goals. Sara Lebrun and Katie Spence each tallied three goals, while Abby Ranney and Colleen Chassagne added two.

Chassagne led the way with three assists and Ranney and Maddie Hewitt both chipped in with two. Maggie Shifflett made nine saves in goal without allowing a tally in the second half.

The Fighting Owls travel to CCBC Essex on Thursday.
