BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's soccer team (4-0-0, 2-0-0 MD JUCO) continued its shutout streak with a 2-0 victory over Howard (3-3-0, 2-1-0 MD JUCO) at home on Tuesday. The Fighting Owls haven't allowed a goal in their last three games.
Freshman
Madison Smith made three saves in goal for her fourth career win and third career shutout. Smith and the Harford defense have not allowed a goal in the last 414:53 of game action (more than seven halves).
Savannah Humphreys scored the game's first goal in the seventh minute and was part of a brilliant double assist for the second marker in the game's 88th minute to solidify the win.
Ange Barbieri was the recipient of the pass from Humphreys and
Jessica Smith off a set play.
