No. 12 Women's Soccer Remains Undefeated, 5-1

BALTIMORE - The No. 12 Harford women's soccer team improved to 5-0-0 overall, and 3-0-0 in MD JUCO play, with a 5-1 victory over CCBC Catonsville on Friday. The Fighting Owls saw their scoreless streak end in the win at 485:51, more than four full games.

The Fighting Owls led 3-0 at the break and took a 4-0 lead into the final 20 minutes of action before Madison Smith was robbed of another shutout. The Cardinals were awarded a penalty kick in the 70th minute and connected for the first goal against the Harford freshman since the opening half of the season.

Ange Barbieri scored a pair of goals, tying her with Savannah Humphreys for the team lead with four markers. She scored the team's third goal just before the half and the final goal in the game in the 77th minute.

Evie Powell but the Fighting Owls on the board off an assist from defender Erica Henry. Henry also set up Barbieri's first tally. Brianna Worthington and Morgan Kaseman also found the back of the net in the win.

Smith made five saves to earn her fifth win of the season. Harford returns to the pitch on Wednesday against Anne Arundel at home.
