MEDIA, Pa. - The Harford voleyball team improved to 6-1 with a pair of sweeps against Atlantic Cape and Delaware County on Saturday. The Fighting Owls won 25-8, 25-8, 25-10 in the first match and 25-10, 25-3, 25-12 against the hosts.

Lexie Roberts combined to record 24 kills on 32 attempts with just one error in the pair of wins. She tallied a double-double in the Atlantic Cape match with 16 kills in 20 attempts and 11 digs.

Fabiana Della-Monica was one of numerous Fighting Owls to have a good serving day. The freshman setter had 11 service aces, including eight in the win over DelCo. She added 22 assists in the Atlantic Cape contest.

The Fighting Owls travel to CCBC Essex on Tuesday before returning home to host a tri-match with Northern Virginia and Frederick on Thursday.
