COLUMBIA, Md. - The Harford voleyball team (13-3, 6-0 MD JUCO) remained in first place with a four-set victory over Howard (10-7, 2-2 MD JUCO) on the road on Friday night. The Fighting Owls totaled 45 kills and attacked at a .330 clip to win 25-12, 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

All-American candidate Lexie Roberts recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 16 kills and 16 digs while tallying seven service aces and a .375 hitting percentage. Roberts leads the conference with 218 kills and a .397 hitting percentage.

Classmate Ashley Joyner also totaled a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs. Freshman middle Lauren Brown had eight kills and seven blocks.

Fabiana Della-Monica paced the offense with 33 assists while Victoria Karayinopolus had a match-high 17 digs.

The Fighting Owls return home for matches on Tuesday (Cecil) and Thursday (CCBC Catonsville) at 6 p.m. inside the APGFCU Arena.
