Men's Soccer Tripped Up By ASA, 4-2

Box Score
BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (8-3-1) dropped a nonconference tilt at home to ASA (7-2-0) on Monday, 4-2. The Fighting Owls evened the scored at 2-2 before the break, but allowed two goals in less than a minute for the loss.

ASA's Kendan Anderson scored three times, and his flick over Ian Dowding's head proved to be the game winner. Dowding made four saves in the loss, while Chuck Hadley made one. Both goalies allowed two goals in one half of action.

Offensively, Kwin Kensley scored a rebound goal off the initial shot from Nat Hand to knot the game at 1-1 in the 27th minute. After falling behind again, Kensley took a corner to set up the Fighting Owls' second marker. Luke Skinner got a head on the corner and sent it back across the box to a waiting Ethan Mulnix for the goal.

Harford next hosts Southern Maryland in a key Region XX DI and MD JUCO conference tilt for the first-place Fighting Owls. The contest begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
