BEL AIR, Md. - For the first time in school history, the Harford volleyball team (2-0) earned a victory over Southern Maryland, 3-1, in its first match inside the APGFCU Arena on Thursday. The Fighting Owls were dominant for almost the entire match in front of a record crowd of 309 fans.

Harford won the first two sets 25-22 behind a balanced attack. Sophomores Lexie Roberts and Ashley Joyner were instrumental in the offensive attack.

CSM jumped out to an early lead in the fourth set, trying to force a decisive fifth set, but the Fighting Owls mounted a comeback, tying the game at 20-20 and 21-21 before taking control and claiming the final set, 25-22.
