BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (8-7-0, 7-4-0 MD JUCO) had its highest offensive output in four games and cruised to a 4-1 victory over Prince George's at home on Monday night. Four different Fighting Owls scored goals in the win.
John Lynn opened the scoring in the 19th minute with his fourth tally of the season off an assist by
Ryan Kinney. Kinney followed up with his first goal of the year with a header off a deflected cross from
Brandon Waite. Waite helped out again in the second half as his initial shot went off the post but was corralled by
Tom O'Daniels who found the back of the net for his first career tally.
After PG finally beat
Stephen Friend to inch closer,
Solomon Koomson-Dadzie sent a laser about 10 yards outside the box while his body was parallel to the ground for the final goal of the night. It came from an amazing pass from
Kwin Kensley.
Friend made three saves and that didn't include his most acrobatic stop of the night. On the slick turf, Kensley tried to clear the ball away from the box as the first half was winding down. He slipped and mishit the ball and it spun toward the open net. Friend went to his right and dove to stop what would have been a goal for the other Owls.
Harford concludes the regular seaon with a home match against Harcum on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
