NORTH EAST, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (17-3, 9-1 MD JUCO) earned at least a share of the MD JUCO Title with a sweep of Cecil on Wednesday. The Fighting Owls won, 25-10, 25-13, 25-5.

With a victory on Friday at home, the Fighting Owls will claim their first outright MD JUCO Championship in program history.

Lauren Brown continued to dominate with 10 kills, a .643 hitting percentage, four aces and a pair of solo blocks. Tiyana Bumbray chipped in with eight kills while Alicia Horton had seven. Fabiana Della-Monica led the way with 18 assists in the win.

The Fighting Owls host Howard on Friday at 7 p.m.
