BEL AIR, Md. - The fourth-seeded Harford men's soccer team (9-7-1) advanced to the 2014 Region XX Semifinals with a 4-1 win over No. 5 Hagerstown (6-13-1) on Saturday. The Fighting Owls will face the top-seeded CCBC Essex Knights on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Solomon Koomson-Dadzie and
Ryan Lesniewski were the  for Harford on the early afternoon. SKD netted the first goal and assisted Lesniewski on the second, and Harford rolled into the semis. Lesniewski added a second goal in the second half to finalize the scoring, 4-1.
Koomson-Dadzie was in the box with a host of Hawk defenders, and one Hagerstown player misplayed the ball right to his feet. The Harford sophomore did not waste the opportunity and put Harford up in the game's 8th minute. Just seven minutes later, SKD sent a beautiful cross to the other side of the box to the head of Lesniewski who sent it back across to the back of the net.
In the 28th minute,
Camillo Fortunato scored his second goal of the season with a laser from 25 yards out. Lesniewski's other goal was a 50/50 ball with the Hagerstown 'keeper, which the Fighting Owls won with another header from Lesniewski.

Stephen Friend made one save and allowed a lone goal in the 71st minute by Hagerstown's Jacob Bickley.
