BALTIMORE - The Harford men's soccer team (9-8-1) saw its season end in the 2014 Region XX Semifinals with a 3-1 loss to top-seeded CCBC Essex on Wednesday. The Fighting Owls fell behind 3-0 and scored their lone goal in the 87th minute.

Harford's goal was scored by sophomore Solomon Koomson-Dadzie, his team-leading sixth goal of the season. The Knights took a 1-0 lead into the half on a goal by Roman Bubalo. James Canoles netted the game winner in the 51st minute and Bubalo's penalty kick extended the lead to 3-0 in the 74th minute.

The loss marks the first time the Fighting Owls did not win at least 10 matches under fifth-year head coach Jason Muffoletto.
