Box Score NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Harford men's basketball team (4-1) lost its first game of the
Mike Smelkinson era at Monroe College (1-2) on Saturday, 72-68.
Cedric Hines led the Fighting Owls in scoring with 14 points off the bench.
Harford trailed by four at the break, and shot 50 percent from the floor in the second half, but couldn't overcome the Mustangs on their home court. Monroe outrebounded Harford 47-19 in the win.
Hines was 6-for-9 from the floor for 14 points, while
Alie Kondeh also recorded double digits off the bench with 13 markers and seven steals.
Jon Warren added 10 and
Malachi Seney and
Exzavier Cooper chipped in with nine and eight points, respectively.
