Box Score SUPPLY, N.C. - The Harford men's basketball team almost toppled No. 11 Harcum on Thursday, but eventually fell in overtime, 80-73. The Fighting Owls had an 18-point lead at the break but needed a free throw from
Toney Floyd to force the extra session.
Exzavier Cooper had a team-best 20 points and
Jon Warren added 15 points for the Fighting Owls, who led 45-27 at the half.
Cameron Smith had three triples in the first half and finished with a dozen points, alongside
Malachi Seney.
Floyd, who finished with seven points, went to the line with Harford trailing 67-66 with four seconds remaining. He connected on one of the two and a Harcum last second shot fell short, forcing overtime.
The Bears scored a pair of quick buckets in the extra session and outscored the Fighting Owls 13-6 for the win.
The Fighting Owls take on Caldwell on Friday at 4 p.m.
