Box Score 2 LARGO, Md. - The 2014 Harford softball team picked up its 14th and 15th wins on Saturday, giving the program its most victories in a season since 2003. The Fighting Owls defeated Prince George's 9-0 and 14-3.

Erin Clary has led the squad to knew heights in her first year at the helm. The Fighting Owls won 13 games in three consecutive seasons from 2009-11. Saturday's sweep eclipses that mark for the most since 2003. Harford won 20 games in 2002 and 18 in 2003, and this year's 15 wins ranks third on the all-time chart with six game remaining.
Tori Brooks slugged a three-run home run in game two and the Fighting Owls never trailed in the sweep.
On Friday, Harford busted a 7-7 game wide open in the top of the seventh against Frederick. The Fighting Owls scored six times with just one out when the rain delayed the finish. The game will be resumed on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Frederick with
Abby Young batting with two runners on in a 13-7 game. Game tqo will begin followed the conclusion of the opener.
