Box Score ARNOLD, Md. - The Harford women's lacrosse team had its season come to an end with a 24-11 loss to defending national champion Monroe CC, 24-11. The Fighting Owls ended with a 9-8 mark, the first above-.500 mark since 2008.

The Fighting Owls reached the NJCAA National Tournament in back to back seasons for the first time ever. Karley Bush scored a pair of goals to give]e Harford a 2-1 lead but the defending champs extended their win streak to 34 games.

Bush finished with three goals while Paulena Dempsey and Emily Nosek added a pair, apiece. Rachel Smith made 11 saves in the loss. Three Fighting Owl sophomores ended the game with a goal each, as Abby Ranney, Djene Diane and Nosek finished their career with goals in the final minutes.
