BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (0-1-0) lost its 2014 opener to No. 12 ASA (1-0-0) on Wednesday, 4-1. Sophomore Kendan Anderson tallied all four goals for the visitors.

Trailing, 2-0, in the first half, The Fighting Owls produced the goal of the evening on a corner kick set piece. Ryan Lesniewski gave a soft short pass to Tom O'Daniels, who in turn gave a quick touch to a waiting Kwin Kensley. The sophomore midfielder fired a laser into the upper 90 for the team's first goal of the season. Lesniewski and O'Daniels earned their first collegiate point on the play.

Anderson and the rest of the Avengers were too much for the Fighting Owls, though, on the afternoon. He netted a pair of goals in each half.

Harford travels to Mercer on Wednesday for a road tilt against the Vikings at 5 p.m.
