Karley BushARNOLD, Md. - The Harford women's soccer team won its fourth consecutive contest with a 4-2 decision on the road against Anne Arundel on Wednesday.
Nicole Wojcik netted a pair of goals, including the game winner in the 78th minute.
The Pioneers got on the board first, just three minutes into the contest, but Wojcik evened the score midway through the first from
Brooke Nigrin. In the second half,
Karley Bush gave Harford a momentary lead, but it wouldn't last long.
With the score tied at 2-2 and 12 minutes remaining, Wojcik teammed up with
Angela Kuhn for the game-winner. It was Kuhn's second helper, and she added an insurance goal with 5:29 left.
The Fighting Owls controlled possession and the clock and
Ashley King made four saves in the win.
Harford hosts Steveson's JV squad on Friday at 6 p.m.
