BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (4-3-0, 4-1-0 MD JUCO) kept its winning streak alive with a 4-1 victory over MD JUCO foe Chesapeake on Friday evening. The Fighting Owls and goalkeeper
Stephen Friend were five seconds away from a shutout.
Three different Fighting Owls scored in the win, led by
Kwin Kensley's goal and assist.
Chris Anderson put the squad on the board in the first half with a cracker from outside the box. In the second half, Kensley's goal gave the Fighting Owls cushions.
Dominic Fannon scored a brace for Harford, Â striking off of a free kick for the third and sneaking one just over the line for a 4-0 advantage.
Friend held the Skipjacks off the board for 89:55, but Dan MacFarland prevented the clean sheet.
The victory was the Fighting Owls' fourth-straight win, all coming in conference action. Harford next hosts a non-conference doubleheader against Burlington on Monday.
