CUMBERLAND, Md. - The first-place Fighting Owl volleyball team (12-1, 7-0 MD JUCO) swept Allegany (6-7, 4-2 MD JUCO) on the road on Thursday. The match was closer than the final score would indicate, however, as Harford held on 25-21, 26-24, 26-24.

Lauren Brown was again the star of the evening, pounding out a team-best 12 kills on just two errors in 19 attempts for a .526 hitting percentage. She added 14 digs and five blocks, including three block solos.

Tiyana Bumbray tallied six kills and a match-high 17 digs in the win while classmate Phoenix Offutt chipped in with six kills against zero errors and seven total blocks. Victoria Karayinopulos had 16 digs from the libero position.

Harford travels to Monroe College for a weekend tournament against Nassau, CC of Rhode Island, FIT and the host Mustangs.
