NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Harford volleyball team (15-2) split its Sunday action in the Monroe Tournament. The Fighting Owls beat FIT, 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18, and then lost in straight sets to the hosts, 25-14, 25-13, 25-15.

Lauren Brown recorded her first career triple-double in the win against FIT with 12 kills, 11 digs and 10 total blocks. Fabiana Della-Monica had 29 assists and eight digs and Grace Hancik led the way with 14 digs.

In the loss against Monroe, Harford was held to just nine kills and 11 errors in the sweep.

Harford host Garrett on Oct. 7.
