NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Harford volleyball team improved to 14-1 with a pair of wins during day one of the Monroe Volleyball Tournament. The Fighting Owls defeated Nassau, 25-16, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21, and CC of Rhode Island, 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.

In the Nassau match, Lauren Brown and Tiyana Bumbray both totaled 11 kills. Brown attacked at a .471 clip and had three solo blocks while Phoenix Offutt also had three blocks. Fabiana Della-Monica had 25 assists and 10 digs while Victoria Karayinopulos collected 14 digs.

Against CCRI, Bumbray led the way with five kills and two aces while Deja Williams had four kills. Della-Monica had 10 assists and 11 digs to go along with her three service aces.
