BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's basketball team earned its biggest win of the season with an 89-52 pasting of Chesapeake on Hall of Fame Saturday. The home team never trailed and every Fighting Owl made at least two field goals in the rout.
Exzavier Cooper had his best game of his young career as the freshman tied a career high with 20 points and set new personal bests with 17 rebounds and five blocked shots. Cooper shot 5-for-10 from the field and a career-high 10-of-13 from the line.
The Fighting Owls held the Skipjacks to 26.4 percent shooting from the floor and collected a season-high 13 blocked shots and 22 steals. Harford scored 50 points after the break as the bench played a majority of the minutes. The Fighting Owls led by as many as 41 points after intermission.
Brandon Spain was 6-for-10 from the field for 18 points. The sophomore point guard added seven rebounds, a career-best six steals, five assists and a pair of blocks.
Cameron Smith connected on a pair of triples and finished with eight markers.,

Malachi Seney and
Charlie Kwarteng all connected on three buckets while Kwarteng was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor.
Harford travels to Anne Arundel (8-10, 1-7 MD JUCO) on Wednesday.
