Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Harford Women's Soccer team continued to fly high offensively, scoring four times in the second half en route to a 5-1 victory over CCBC Catonsville Tuesday afternoon.
Since being shut out 5-0 by Montgomery on September 25
th, Harford (7-2, 4-1 MD JUCO) have scored 15 goals and allowed just one in the last three games. Tuesday saw five different players get on the scoresheet for the Fighting Owls.
Harford didn't get on the board until the final minute of the first half as
Natalie Decker scored with 30 seconds left on the clock. She was assisted by
Joelle Matthews.
After being held off the board for nearly 45 minutes in the first half, the Fighting Owls needed just three minutes to find the back of the net in the second half with
Carly Lambert scoring her first of the season in the 48
th minute to put Harford up 2-0.
Angela Kuhn provided the assist on the goal.
Abbie Springer put Harford up 3-0 in the 59
th minute, scoring on a free kick. After surrendering a goal to the Cardinals in the 63
rd minute on a free kick, Kuhn answered with her conference leading 14
th goal of the season. She was assisted by Springer.
Najee Vick scored a goal in the 90
th minute, assisted by
Ciara Harbaugh, to complete the Fighting Owls' four goal blitz in the second half.
Harford will look to maintain their good form of play Friday when they host Southern Maryland. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
