BEL AIR, Md. – The Women's Soccer team rolled to a 6-0 win over Southern Maryland.
Angela Kuhn led the way, scoring four goals, including a hat trick in the opening 20 minutes.
Harford (8-2, 5-1 MD JUCO) pitched their third shutout in four games, out scoring their opponents 21-1 over the same span.
During Harford's four game win streak, Kuhn has scored at least 3 goals three times. She scored three times in a five minute span in the first half and added a fourth in the second half.
Kuhn scored the first goal of the game a free kick from just outside the box. Her shot went under the wall and into the bottom corner of the net. She scored again just four minutes later, shooting low into the bottom left corner through traffic with her left foot. She finished her hat trick just a minute later, this time shooting into the bottom right corner. She was assisted by
Liz Fitch who did a great job dribbling around a defender and finding Kuhn in space. Kuhn headed in a perfect corner by
Abbie Springer to score a career-high fourth goal of the game. She now has a conference leading 17 goals on the season.
The Fighting Owls got goals from
Dana Waskiewicz and
Brooke Tauber. Fitch assisted on Waskiewicz's goal.
Riley Druyor assisted on Tauber's goal after a nice holdup play in the box.
The Fighting Owls next match will come on the road when they travel to Montgomery Thursday.
