BEL AIR, Md. - A late second-half run propelled the Harford men's basketball team to a 66-61 victory over visiting Penn State-York on Friday.

The Fighting Owls scored nine straight to push a 55-54 advantage to a 64-54 lead with five minutes remaining. The deeper Harford squad outlasted the Nittany Lions, who clawed back in the final moments as Harford missed three consecutive front ends of one-and-one opportunities.

Jon Warren netted 26 points to lead all scorers. The sophomore guard was 4-for-5 from behind the arc and 6-for-8 from the line in the win. Jalen Thompson pulled in 13 rebounds to go along with his eight points. Cedric Hines totaled nine points and three assists.
