Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. - The Harford men's basketball team won its fourth game in five contests with a 72-62 decision at CCBC Dundalk on Monday.
Aaron McDonald scored a career-high 21 points as the Fighting Owls evened their MD JUCO record to 3-3.
McDonald helped the Fighting Owls use a 17-2 run early in the first half to take a 36-25 lead at the break. He shot 8-of-13 from the floor, including 3-of-6 from behind the arc.
After scoring the first five points of the second half, McDonald was forced to sit with his fourth foul. Leading by nine points, the Harford bench kept pace as the Lions chipped the lead to just four points.
Jay Johnson and three other bench players combined for 20 points, mostly in the second half. Johnson came off the bench with 10 points on 3-for-3 shooting from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line.
Cedric Hines scored a dozen markers and
Davonte Williams added nine.
Jalen Thompson led the Fighting Owls with 11 rebounds while
Fadil Robinson chipped in with eight.
