BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team closed out the regular season with a 107-42 victory over Delaware Tech on Sophomore Night. Every Fighting Owl scored in the win.
Jazmin Johnson totaled 35 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals, shooting 14-of-16 from the floor for the Fighting Owls.
Jasalyn Denkins added a double-double with 15 and 10 off the bench.
Ashley Smith had 13 points and six steals and
Zana Godoy had 10 points and five helpers.
Connor Hanley record eight points, six rebounds and four blocked shots while
Mia Fitts and
Megan Aro both chipped in with eight as well.
Ashley Hightower recorded six points and
Tori Pennington chipped in with four to round out the scoring.
Delaware Tech took a 2-0 lead, but Harford rattled off 19-straight points to take control. The Fighting Owls forced 30 turnovers and shot 55.6 percent from the floor in the win.
Harford opens the 2015 MD JUCO Tournament on Thursday as the No. 2 seed against No. 7 Prince George's at 6 p.m.
