BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's lacrosse team won its MD JUCO opener behind the offensive fireworks of Natalie Decker, Karley Bush and Lauren Haggerty. The trio combined for 16 goals and six assists in the 21-10 victory over CCBC Essex on Wednesday.

Decker led the charge for the second-straight contest, netting six goals on 10 shots. Bush and Haggerty both had five goals and three assists on the evening.

The Fighting Owls peppered the net with 47 shots, compared to just 16 for the visiting Knights. Allie Stork made three saves to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Lacy Underhill totaled three goals and one assist while Megan Aro and Maggie Hopkins had one goal and multiple assists for the Fighting Owls. Aro led the team with four helpers.

The Fighting Owls host Onondaga on Friday at 4 p.m.
