ARNOLD, Md. - The Harford baseball team used a 19-hit barrage to rout Anne Arundel, 14-4, staying undefeated in conference play.

Harford (19-5, 7-0 MD JUCO) exploded for 10 runs in the fifth inning, opening up a commanding 13-0 lead.
Brandon Smith led the way as he continues to heat up at the plate for the Fighting Owls. He had a two-run double and a two-run triple in the fifth inning alone. He went four-for-four at the plate on the day, scoring three runs and driving in four.

Starting pitcher
John Hetterman (2-1) was stellar on the mound for the Fighting Owls, retiring 11 of the first 14 batters he faced. The right-hander allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings pitched.

It was another balanced attack at the plate for the Fighting Owls as all nine players in the starting lineup registered at least a hit. They overcame a few early mistakes on the base paths to score double-digit runs for the fifteenth time in 24 games.

Brett Hash went three-for-four at the dish with a pair of doubles. He scored three runs and drove in one.
Dominic DiSabatino and
Joe Sheeran both scored a run and drove in two. DiSabatino went two-for-four while Sheeran went one-for-three with a double.

CJ Young extended his hit streak to 18 games to open the season. The second baseman has registered a hit in every game he's played in so far in 2015. He went two-for-four with a double on the day.

Harford will be back on the road Friday afternoon as they visit Montgomery to play a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
