ROCKVILLE, Md. - The defending MD JUCO Champion Montgomery men's soccer team scored an early goal on a penalty kick to defeat Harford 1-0.

The Fighting Owls had their chances, totaling six shots, but were unable to net the equalizer in a well-played game on both sides. Harford played perhaps its best contest of the year, four days before facing rival CCBC Essex in Baltimore.
