Box Score ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Harford volleyball team (15-5, 6-1 MD JUCO) dropped its first conference match of the season in five sets on Tuesday at Montgomery (9-5, 3-1 MD JUCO). The Fighting Owls had a chance to end it in four, but lost 21-25, 25-21, 16-25, 28-26, 15-7.
The loss ended an eight-match MD JUCO winning streak for the defending champions, and marked just the third conference loss in 31 matches since the end of the 2012 season for Harford.
For the second-straight match,
Haleigh Plummer was an offensive force with a match-high 13 kills and a .273 hitting percentage. She added three aces and a pair of assists in the loss.
Tiyana Bumbray added 11 kills, but committed 11 errors for a .000 hitting clip.
Braquelle Horton set a new career high with 31 digs in the five-setter, while
Morgan Tennant came one helper shy of a personal best with 34 assists.
