BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team (12-2) got back in the win column after a 23-day holiday layoff in emphatic fashion with a 120-42 victory over Thomas Nelson. All 13 Fighting Owls scored in the win.
Darra Walker and
Mia Fitts were nearly perfect in limited action. Both sophomore guards were 8-of-10 from the floor playing in less than a half. Walker was also 6-for-7 from behind the arc for 22 points while Fitts was 2-for-3 but added a perfect 5-of-5 from the line for a game-high 23 points.
Daisa Harris also saw limited action but nearly recorded a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.
Kaschae Harris saw her first action of the season and was a spark plug, scoring 16 points with four 3-pointers.
The Fighting Owls travel to Baltimore City on Wednesday.
