BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team earned its 15th win with another dominating performance at home. The Fighting Owls claimed a 102-47 victory over NOVA on Tuesday.
The Fighting Owls held the Nighthawks to five points in the first quarter and eight points in the third, actually holding NOVA scoreless in the first 6:48 of the half while the Harford offense totaled 23 points.
Daisa Harris led the charge with 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting and six assists. The freshman point guard netted 21 points in the first half on 9-of-12 shooting. Sophomore
Mia Fitts added 20 points and
Dominique Walker chipped in with 12. All three starters nabbed three steals in the big win and Walker pulled in a dozen rebounds for the double-double.
Sheri Addison scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting off the bench and Janess Fauntroy corralled eight caroms for the Fighting Owls. Harford hosts Monroe College on Thursday.
