The Short Story: The Harford women's basketball team continued their dominating ways as they easily cruised by Hagerstown 121-39.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Fighting Owls continued their trend of starting games fast as they went on a 19-0 run to start the game. 
  • Tolulope Otoki had her breakout game as she led the way with 21 points on 9-12 shooting and 9 rebounds.
  • Nichole Sharp had her best game of the season as well as she scored 12 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Alysha Berry got her first start of the season and did not disappoint with 13 points and 5 assists.
  • Daisa Harris made sure to leave her mark on the game early as she scored 19 points along with 7 assists and 6 steals. 
  • Harford had three players with double-doubles in the game as Dahyne Redd with 14 points and 10 rebounds joined Dominique Walker with 10 points and 12 rebounds along with Sharp.
  • The last Killer D, Danielle Durjan, also played well in limited minutes as she dropped 8 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals.

GAME NOTES:
  • Harford shot 54% from the field in the game along with a 32% three-point percentage and 80% from the charity line.
  • The Fighting Owls pulled down 79 rebounds in the game, the most they have tallied in a game this season.
UP NEXT:
  • The Fighting Owls will return home to continue their conference schedule against Frederick on Friday, November 18th at 5:30 pm.
  • Frederick is 0-1 on the season and for the conference after having lost to Cecil 109-45 in their season opener.
