HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Harford shot 51% from the floor as they dominated the game from start to finish.Â
- Nichole Collins was impressive for a second straight game, leading the team with 21 points along with 4 steals in just 16 minutes of play.
- Daisa Harris scored 19 points and 8 steals while leading a smothering Fighting Owl defense.
- Five Harford players finished in double-digit scoring with Adrienne Jones, Dahnye Redd, and Dominique Walker being the others.
- Redd and Walker finished the game with double-doubles as Redd brought down 9 offensive rebounds.
- Walker also had three blocks in the game, which means she needs just eight more blocks to be the all-time career blocks record for Harford.
- Joy Morton and Nazje Norton scored 9 points each with Morton also pulling down 11 rebounds. Morton showed a ton of grit inside the paint while also displaying impressive ball handling skills in the middle of the court.
- Danielle Durjan and Precious Palmer scored 8 points each and combined for 14 assists in the game.
- Forwards Mylia Clarke and Therese Gilmore got the job done on the glass as they both collected 7 rebounds in helping Harford out-rebound the Cougars 52-22.
GAME NOTES:
- The Fighting Owls out-scored Brookdale 30-0 in the third quarter.
- All 12 of the Fighting Owls players that saw time in the game scored for the second straight game.
- The only blemish on the Fighting Owl's well played game was shooting just 9-19 from the free throw line and 8-38 from three-point range.
- Harford scored 84 points in the paint with 48 of them coming from a fast-break.
- Harford never trailed in the game going wire-to-wire after a basket within the first 40 seconds of the game.Â
- The Fighting Owls assisted on 32 of the 55 baskets coming from 9 different players.
