HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Despite controlling the pace of the game throughout, the Fighting Owls did not have their best shooting performance of the season. They finished the game at 36% from the field, 29% from behind the arc, and 40% from the free throw line.
  • That is where the negatives end as Harford controlled the glass, out-rebounding the Bears 71-32 including 25-2 for offensive rebounds.
  • Daisa Harris continued to show off her amazing ability with her first double-double of the season with 21 points and 11 assists along with 4 steals.
  • Danielle Durjan scored 16 points including four 3-pointers and 9 rebounds.
  • Dominique Walker had her best game of the season as she scored 10 points, 11 rebounds, 7 blocks, and 5 steals.
  • Dahnye Redd contributed 9 points and 9 rebounds with fellow started Adrienne Jones tallying 8 points.
  • Alysha Berry made her season debut and scored 6 points on a pair of three point shots.

GAME NOTES:
  • With her 7 blocks, Walker has tied the all-time record for career blocks at Harford.
  • Walker was also the most efficient shooter of the game as she was the only player with more than two field goal attempts to shoot better than 50% from the floor.
  • Once again Harford showed off impressive depth in their roster as 12 of the Fighting Owls players that saw time in the game scored.

UP NEXT:
  • The Fighting Owls will return home for a game against Northampton on Tuesday, November 8th at 6 pm.
  • The Northampton Spartans are 2-1 on the season as they split a couple of games at the Mohawk Valley Invitational.
