The Short Story:Â The Harford women's basketball team jumped out early and then cruised to their fourth straight victory to start the season 4-0, defeating Northampton 109-62.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Owls jumped out to a 35-10 lead after the first quarter and never relented the lead.Â
- In the first six minutes of the game, it was a 26-2 game as the Harford starters were able to easily outpace their opponents.
- Daisa Harris was stellar once again with 20 points and 6 assists along with 4 steals and a block.
- Adrienne Jones was very efficient with the ball scoring 19 points on 7-10 shooting in just 13 minutes of play. She also shot 3-4 from long range with two of those on transition plays.Â
- Dominique Walker made some noise in the game when she picked up her first of two blocks in the game. It was significant because it was her 87th block of her career which gives her the record for the most career blocks in Harford history. Walker also scored 12 points and pulled down 6 rebounds.
- Danielle Durjan showed off some impeccable passing skills on the fast-break while also scoring 11 points.
- Dahnye Redd was the only Harford player to earn a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds in thee game; seven of which were the offensive variety as she battled on the glass all night long.
GAME NOTES:
- The Fighting Owl defense was impeccable again coming up with 16 steals leading to 37 points off turnovers and 30 fast break points.
- Tolulope Otoki made her season debut for the Fighting Owls scoring 8 points in 11 minutes of play as she looks to be a big part of the team moving forward.
- Harford only shot 25% from behind the arc as they will continue to look for better numbers in that category.
- The Spartans only picked up 30 rebounds in the game compared to the 67 from Harford.Â
