HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford trailed in the game by as much as 22 in the second half, but a big surge led by Aaron McDonald and his 29 points brought the Fighting Owls back to within 8 points late in the game.
  • With the outcome of the game still very much in doubt, a sequence of plays helped seal fate as a lay-up by Trent McCallum was blocked by Harcum after hitting the backboard and appeared to be a clear goaltending. However, the call was not made and Harcum went down the other way for a transition three-pointer that was a big five-point swing in the game.
  • McCallum was fantastic in the game as he scored 12 points and assisted 5 times as he continues to act as a 6th starter on the team.
  • Micah Till struggled from the field, but was 9-9 from the charity line as he finished with 18 points as well as 2 each of assists, rebounds, and blocks.
  • Isaiah White also struggled, shooting 3-14 from the field, but did pull down 11 rebounds and tallied 8 points along the way.
GAME NOTES
  • Harford was out-scored 48-35 in the first half, but won the second half 54-51.
  • The Fighting Owls shot just 38.5% from the floor
  • Harcum had six different double-digit scorers with Milik Gantz with 14 points and 12 assists.
  • The Bears Tyler Reynolds and Luidgy Laporal scored 20 points each combining to shoot 17 of 23 in the game.
