BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team moved one win away from history with a 98-54 victory at home against Cecil on Thursday. The Fighting Owls are 11-0 in the conference and are one win away from completing the first ever undefeated MD JUCO mark in program history.
The Fighting Owls trailed 6-4 early and then turned on the scoring jets en route to a 46-15 halftime lead. Four players scored in double figures in the rout, led by
Nazje Norton's career-high 17 points. She swished five triples off the bench and pulled in five rebounds.
Dominique Walker scored 12 points and added 14 rebounds and four blocks.
Daisa Harris also scored a dozen points and had five assists and four steals.
Mia Fitts scored 14 points with two triples.
The Fighting Owls go for the undefeated conference mark on Friday at 5:30 p.m. against Southern Maryland.
