BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's lacrosse team (3-2) jumped out to a fast start en route to a 16-11 win over Brookdale (1-1) on Saturday.

The Fighting Owls won the first three faceoffs and converted them to three quick tallies for a 3-0 lead less than three minutes into the contest. Harford was up 5-0 before the Jersey Blues dented the scoreboard.

Max Mullin and Mike Cooke both totaled five points in the win. Mullin had three goals and Cooke handed out three assists. Tyler Wagoner led all scorers with four goals and Brett Hurley netted the hat trick.

Jacob Laubner made 11 saves in the victory. Louis Tierney and Sean Lautenklos netted their first goals of the season and Mike DiNatalie and Lorenzo DiPasquale both chipped in with a tally in the win. DiNatalie had 21 faceoff wins and seven groundballs and Tristan Pace had eight groundballs.
