Box Score BALTIMORE - The No. 3 Harford women's lacrosse team turned it on midway through Thursday's contest to cruise to its 10th win of the year. The Fighting Owls defeated CCBC Essex, 15-3.

Harford never trailed in the contest, but was tied 2-2 early before scoring 11 consecutive goals for the win. Cassidy Jones tied her career-high with seven assist and broke the Harford career assist record with her 49th helper. Katie Spence (2012-13) previously held the record of 44. The freshman's 49 assists leads the nation by 28.

Lauren Cavanaugh netted a career-high five goals in the win. Lauren Haggerty upped her NJCAA-best goal total to 51 with a pair of tallies. She also added eight draw controls.

Megan Aro and Sierra Donovan both had a pair of goals and an assist in the win. Jozlyn Kelly also scored twice and Brittany Minsky netted one goal.

The defense held the Knights to just three goals for the second-straight game. Allie Storke made six saves for her 10th win.
