BEL AIR, Md. - The No. 4 Harford women's lacrosse team cruised to a 15-5 victory over Suffolk on a wintery home Saturday.
Lauren Cavanaugh led the team with four goals in her first home game of the season.
The newcomer gave the Fighting Owls a 3-0 lead and then tallied three second-half goals for a career-best effort.
Megan Aro led all Fighting Owls with five points in the victory, continuing her hot play with two goals and three assists.
Lauren Haggerty had four points with three goals and an assist, upping her NJCAA leading totals to 45 goals and 58 points.
Sierra Donovan and
Brittany Minsky both scored two goals and Karley Abbott and
Sydney Newlon each chipped in with a goal for Harford. Haggerty collected 10 draw controls to lead all players and
Allie Storke stopped 11 shots in the victory.
The Fighting Owls host Southern Maryland on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
