KEYSER, Wv- The Harford women's volleyball team traveled to West Virginia for an afternoon match, but came away disappointed as they fell to Potomac State in four sets. The loss still leaves the Fighting Owls with an impressive 12-4 record on the season as they have a perfect record at home but have struggled a little more on the road. 

After a tough first set in which Harford struggled to get into a rhythm, they played much better as they just missed winning the second set before taking the third as things looked to be shifting in the Fighting Owl's favor. However, that momentum ran a little short as they lost the fourth set and the match.

Jenna Hathazi really showed off her versatility as just three days after she was deputized into libero duties, she led the team with 11 kills while also adding 10 digs, 1 solo block, and 1 assisted block. Rebekah Hanshaw recovered from the injury that kept her out of the Baltimore City match during the week to provide a 17 dig performance while chipping in 4 kills and 2 aces on the day. 

Kyning Tillinghast was second for the team in the game with 9 kills and 2 aces while Savannah Meyers continued her upward trend with 5 kills, 1 solo block, and 2 assists.

The Fighting Owls will look to bounce back in the friendly confines of the APGFCU Arena as they take on Garrett on Tuesday, September 27th for a 6 PM match.
