  • The Short Story: The Harford men's basketball team rebounded from a tough loss to easily handle the St. Mary's JV team on the back of Isaiah White's excellent offensive production.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Fighting Owls jumped all over the Seahawks early with a 9-0 run to start the game.
  • Harford wasn't about to let up in the second half, including a 22-3 run that truly put the game away.
  • Isaiah White scored 22 points in just 21 minutes of play including four from long range.
  • With over 200 middle schools kids from five local schools in attendance, the Harford players were happy to put on quite a show thanks to monster dunks from Aaron McDonald, Micah Till, Dom Keyes, and Juanir Moore just to name a few,
  • The fans were also enthralled with the handling skills of point guard Trent McCallum who scored 10 points along with 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists.
  • Mychal Stefanides showed off some impressive passing skills as he led the team with 5 assists as well as scoring 7 points.
 
GAME QUOTES AND NOTES:
  • Five Fighting Owls scored in double digits including White's 22 along with Micah Till, Dom Keyes, Malik Jones, and Trent McCallum all scoring 10.
  • Dom Keyes was a rebound away from another double-double despite playing just 15 minutes with first half foul trouble.
  • Mekhi Willis came off the bench to provide 9 points in 7 minutes that sparked a burst of energy from the Harford players.

UP NEXT:
  • Harford will continue their stretch of conference games as they travel to Cecil College on Saturday, January 14th at 3 pm.
  • The Seahawks are 7-7 on the season and are 13th in the conference at 1-5 with their lone win coming against Southern Maryland in overtime.
