 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The high flying Harford squad came into the semifinals just a week after playing the same Hagerstown team in the regular season finale.
  • Held scoreless for the first 21 minutes of the game, Alexandria Adams broke the dead lock with a smashing left foot into the top corner of the net.
  • Eight minutes later it was Rachel Bohli with a 25 yard free kick that found a way into the back of the net followed by a Kassidy Webster goal just four minutes later on an Alison Beers cross.
  • Adams doubled up just before halftime on another long shot as Harford was finally starting to get into a groove.
  • After a few hard fouls early in the second half, the Fighting Owls took it up another level and went on a rampage of goals.
  • Mackenzie Wills scored two goals within two minutes of each other then Bohli added a third in three minutes for Harford.
  • Kasie Lambert assisted on three straight goals for Harford including an assist on Grace Humes' 10th goal of the game as Lambert would go on to tack up five assists and a goal on the day.
  • Bohli and Wills would go on to complete their hat tricks while the slick passing Briana Stabile set up Jacklyn Barbon for her seventh of the year.
  • Barbon would go on to assist on Webster's second goal of the game followed by Mackenzie Forsythe scoring her 21st of the year to cap the Harford scoring.
  • As has been the case with Harford games for much of the season, the Fighting Owls greatly out shot their opponents 40-1 as goalkeeper Crystal Kline racked up her 14th shut out of the year without having to make a save.

UP NEXT
  • Harford will take on CCBC Essex in the regional tournament finals on Friday, October 27 at 6 pm in the Harford Stadium as the Fighting Owls look to capture their fourth consecutive regional title.
  • The Knights come into the game with a 10-4-1 record after defeating Southern Maryland 3-1 in the first semifinal match of the day.
  • Harford defeated CCBC Essex 7-1 in a regular season match on October 5 that was on the Knights' turf field.
