Monroe Ends Harford's Season at Regionals

The Short Story: The Fighting Owls saw their season ended by Monroe College for the fourth straight year as the nationally ranked Mustangs powered their way past Harford.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Harford went up against one of the best volleyball programs in the country with a regional title on the line.
While the Fighting Owls had positive moments sprinkled around, it was ultimately Monroe's day.
Sophomore Kyning Tillinghast led the team with six digs and three kills while Savannah Meyers added a block and two kills.
Jenna Hathazi helped account for all 11 Harford kills with nine assists and two that she finished off herself.
Julia Gatch added a kill, four digs and an assist with Raechel Bowman and Madison Scarpulla also tallying kills.
Bethany Bishop had the tall order of playing as the libero and did an admirable job in receiving the hard hit serves of the Mustangs.
The Fighting Owls did a better job serving in the match, cutting their service errors down to just single instance.

Harford will now face the unenviable task of saying goodbye to a quintet of incredible sophomores including Jenna Hathazi, Savannah Meyers, Julia Gatch, Kyning Tillinghast and Mary Greig.
